Reviewing Your Progress
Using a scale of 1-10 (1 is very poor and 10 is very good) evaluate yourself on the following areas of growth.
- How well are you doing with taking daily time for yourself to read, pray and reflect upon recovery?
- How are you doing with completing academic work and recovery work?
- How well are you doing with attending self help meetings, and using your support system?
- How honest are you in treatment?
- Are you worth a better life than you had drugging or drinking?
- Are you willing to go to any length for recovery?
- If you were to relapse, what would your trigger most likely be?
- How well are you doing with handling the cravings in your surrounding environment?
If you are struggling in any of these areas remember sources of support you can contact such as your sponsor, rector, parent, University Counseling Center, Office of Alcohol and Drug Education or your counselor from treatment. Attend a self help meeting and make sure you are talking about your struggles.
